  • 1 cup sour cream

  • 1½ teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Preparation

Preheat the Oven

Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan or cake pan.


Make the Crust (Optional)

Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter.

Press into the bottom of the pan.

Bake for 8–10 minutes, then let cool.


Prepare the Batter

In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth.

Add sugar and mix until light and fluffy.

Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

Mix in sour cream and vanilla extract.

In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.

Bake

Cool
